Rosa

She got in with the calves, sheep, and goats had them all smushed up against the fence and wouldn't let them leave.

This is her being bad...but it is Rosa all the way. That ewe went after her and when it turned to go back with the others Rosa got her.
She once got rolled by Naomi, our nasty goat, got up nailed her on the nose hard enough to draw blood with her little puppy teeth and then just stood her ground. She is going to be really cool in the right hands.

Once the original excitement wore off, and Rosa put that ewe in her place, Rosa settled down nicely and went to work!

November 1, 2008, Rosa earned her HTCH title.
She had a high of 99 and a low of 81 on her
10 runs-100 being perfect. Most (6) were in the 90's.
Rosa is my first HTCH and hopefully using her as my foundation
many more will follow. I kept a female-Cocoa-from her
first litter and male-Chubby from second litter and both are following
right along in Rosa's footsteps of being a working stockdog.

Rosa is a very calm worker that can work all day long
with the nice slow gait she uses. She doesnt run any pounds
off the stock when working. Rosa reads stock very well and
is gentle and patient when she works but will nip a heel or ear
or walk up and hit a nose if necessary. She moves ewes and
day old lambs with patience and just the right amount of pressure
to not cause a big standoff with Momma.
Cattle is what she loves to work.
Slow, calm, outruns of 300-400 plus yards Rosa does with ease.
